Pricing FAQs

Do you charge for estimates? ▾
No — estimates are always free. Call or text with your project details and we'll give you a clear quote before any work begins.
What's the minimum for a handyman call? ▾
There's a 2-hour minimum for hourly handyman work. For flat-rate jobs (furniture assembly, door repair, etc.) we quote the job directly — no hourly minimum applies.
Are materials included in the prices? ▾
Most prices are for labor only. Materials are billed separately at cost — we always tell you upfront what's needed and how much it'll be. No surprises.
How does the A1 HomeShield Plan work? ▾
You pay $100 once a year and get two seasonal visits — spring and fall. Each visit includes a property walkthrough, HVAC filter swap, up to 1 hour of minor repairs, and a written report. HomeShield members also get 10% off any extra services booked during the year.
Can I bundle spring cleanup services? ▾
Absolutely — and we recommend it. Bundling leaf removal, gutters, trimming, and pressure washing into one visit saves money and time. Call us and we'll build a custom quote around what your property needs.
What forms of payment do you accept? ▾
We accept cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, and major credit cards. Payment is due upon job completion unless you're on a monthly package or annual HomeShield plan.
What if the job takes longer than expected? ▾
If a job is going to run over the quoted scope, we'll always communicate with you before doing additional work. No surprise bills — ever.
